How to Play
PERDIFY is an interrogation-first thriller. You win by listening carefully, documenting inconsistencies, and making the right accusation at the right time.
1. Choose a Case
Pick a file from the library. Quick Cases are focused mysteries you can solve in one sitting; Full Cases are long-form investigations you follow across sessions. Each one drops you into a room of six to nine AI suspects. One of them is the imposter. Everyone else is only lying about something else.
2. Interrogate
Question each suspect by voice or text. Set your tone—sympathetic, neutral, or aggressive—and ask about motives, alibis, and timelines. Suspects remember what you asked earlier, and the game flags the tells: evasive, hesitant, rehearsed.
3. Explore the Scene
Walk the locations—common rooms, private quarters, restricted wings, and the crime scene itself. Work out who had access and who had a reason to be there before the clock runs out.
4. Build the Case
Examine evidence and file it against the stories you have been told. When details conflict, press for clarification. Your case is built from contradictions, not hunches—and between rounds, the imposter will try to bury them.
5. Accuse
Rounds are limited, questions are limited, and you hold only a handful of accusation tokens. When you are confident, name the imposter—or pressure them to confess once the evidence is complete. Wrong accusations carry consequences, so choose carefully.
