This Privacy Policy explains how PERDIFY handles information when you use the PERDIFY iOS app and related services.

2. Information We Collect
Account and Profile Information
- Email accounts: Email address, password hash, display name, account identifiers, authentication tokens, session records, hashed password reset tokens, and reset-request throttling records.
- Sign in with Apple: Apple account identifier, identity token, authorization code, email address if Apple provides it, display name if provided, and account identifiers.
- Profile data: Display name, display-name dialogue preference, avatar or cosmetic choices, account type, subscription tier, game credits, experience points, rank, account creation date, and last-seen date.
Gameplay Information
- Game state: Active and completed cases, scenario IDs, language, difficulty, mode, round, phase, score, and outcome.
- Conversation history: Text messages, voice transcripts, character responses, interrogation tone, discovered evidence, contradictions, accusations, confessions, AI-generated character insights, game summaries, night events, and related gameplay metadata.
- Progression and credits: Credit balances, credit transactions, purchase rewards, feedback rewards, and progression history.
Voice Interrogation
If you use voice features, the app asks for microphone permission. Audio is streamed to our backend only while you actively use voice interrogation. We process that audio to create speech transcripts and AI character replies. We do not use microphone access for advertising or cross-app tracking.
PERDIFY stores the resulting transcript and conversation messages as part of your gameplay history. We do not intentionally persist raw microphone recordings in our own application database. Service providers may process audio transiently to provide speech features.
Purchases
- StoreKit transactions: Product IDs, transaction IDs, original transaction IDs, app account token, bundle ID, App Store environment, signed transaction data or App Store server notification payloads, purchase type and status, purchase, expiration, renewal, cancellation, refund, or revocation dates, credits granted or revoked, and subscription entitlement status where applicable.
- Payment processing: Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Feedback, Support, and Notifications
- Feedback: Prompt source, game ID, scenario ID, language, ratings, play-again answer, tags, optional written feedback, optional contact email, app version, build number, platform, locale, timezone, session length, rounds count, win/loss state, whether voice was enabled, and feedback credit reward status.
- Support: Information you send when contacting us, including your name if provided, email address, support topic, app version or device details if provided, message content, the page you submitted the request from, submission timestamp, and any optional network diagnostics report you choose to share.
- Push notifications: APNs device token and platform if you enable notifications.
Technical Information
Our servers and infrastructure may process IP address, request metadata, timestamps, diagnostics, error logs, and similar operational information needed to provide, secure, debug, and improve the service. We may also process operational AI usage records, such as provider, model, operation type, token counts, audio duration, character counts, latency, confidence scores, cache metrics, and calculated service costs.
First-Party App Analytics
PERDIFY uses first-party app analytics to understand app opens, signup starts and completions, game-session starts and completions, quick-play completion, purchase starts, App Store purchase verification, credit purchases, and credit grants. These analytics may include event name, event timestamp, app version, build number, platform, a PERDIFY anonymous app identifier, app session identifier, account identifier when you are signed in, game identifier for game lifecycle events, language code, and event-specific properties such as signup method, scenario, difficulty, mode, voice enabled state, credits spent or granted, product ID, displayed product name, displayed price, and credit amount.
We do not use PERDIFY analytics for third-party advertising, data broker sharing, IDFA-based tracking, cross-app tracking, or cross-site tracking. Raw first-party analytics events are generally retained for up to 365 days. Account deletion removes analytics events tied to your account and pre-signup anonymous analytics that we can attribute to your account, subject to the retention exceptions described below.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide accounts, login, password reset, and account deletion.
- Run gameplay, save progress, generate AI character responses, and maintain conversation history.
- Enable voice interrogation, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and audio playback.
- Verify App Store purchases, restore purchases, grant credits, and handle refunds or revocations.
- Send requested support messages, service notices, and push notifications if enabled.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, policy violations, and technical failures.
- Review support requests, diagnostics, prompts, transcripts, conversations, and account records where needed to investigate bugs, enforce our Terms, address safety concerns, or respond to user requests.
- Analyze app performance, gameplay balance, costs, and reliability at an operational level.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, security, and App Store obligations.
4. Legal Bases
Where EU or Czech data protection law applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract: To provide the app, account, gameplay, voice features, purchases, and support you request.
- Consent: For microphone access, push notifications, and any optional processing where consent is required.
- Legitimate interests: To keep PERDIFY secure, debug issues, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and understand aggregate use of the service.
- Legal obligations: To keep records needed for tax, accounting, consumer protection, dispute, refund, and legal compliance.
5. No Sale, Ads, or Tracking
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use PERDIFY for third-party advertising, IDFA-based tracking, or cross-app tracking. We do not share your data with data brokers.
6. Service Providers
We may process information with trusted service providers that help operate PERDIFY. These providers may include:
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, StoreKit purchases, App Store server services and notifications, and APNs push notifications.
- Cloudflare: Website hosting, support form delivery, email sending infrastructure, network delivery, security, and operational logs.
- Hosting, database, and storage providers: Backend hosting, databases, logs, asset storage, backups, and network delivery.
- AI, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech providers: Processing prompts, gameplay context, microphone audio, transcripts, and generated voice output needed for AI gameplay and voice features.
- Email and support providers: Password reset, support replies, operational notices, and user-requested communication.
- Operational vendors: Security, monitoring, diagnostics, and infrastructure management.
These providers may process information only for the purposes described in this policy and under appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.
7. International Transfers
We are based in the Czech Republic, but our infrastructure and service providers may process information in other countries. When personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections, standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Account, gameplay, conversation, purchase, and credit records are generally kept while your account is active so the app can preserve your progress and entitlements.
You can delete your account in the app. Account deletion removes your account and gameplay data tied to the account from the active app database. We may retain limited records where needed for legal, accounting, tax, refund, revocation, fraud prevention, security, dispute, App Store, backup, or server-record purposes. Where feasible, retained records are kept without the active account record.
Raw first-party app analytics events are generally retained for up to 365 days and then deleted from active analytics storage. Identity links used to connect pre-signup anonymous analytics to an account are also pruned when they no longer reference retained analytics events.
If you cannot access the in-app deletion flow, contact us at support@perdify.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a deletion request. Deletion from active systems is usually completed within 30 days after verification, unless a longer period is needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, App Store, refund, dispute, backup, or technical reasons.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport, access controls, password hashing, secure token storage, and operational monitoring. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we work to protect the information we process.
10. Your Choices and Rights
- You can choose whether to grant microphone and notification permissions in iOS settings.
- You can delete your account from the app.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent where applicable.
- You may have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection or your local data protection authority.

11. Children's Privacy
PERDIFY is intended for mature players aged 17 or older. The app is not directed to children under 17, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe a child under 17 has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
12. Website Privacy
The PERDIFY website is primarily an informational site. When you visit it, ordinary server, security, and request logs may be processed by our hosting infrastructure to deliver pages, prevent abuse, debug errors, and keep the site reliable.
If you use the website support form, we process the information you submit, including your name if provided, email address, selected topic, app version or device details if provided, message content, submission timestamp, and the page that submitted the request. We use this information to send your request to PERDIFY support and reply by email.
If you follow a website link to the App Store, we may record a first-party click event with the button or page source, referring page path, approximate country, device family, and timestamp so we can understand which PERDIFY website pages send visitors to the App Store.
The PERDIFY website does not use third-party advertising, data broker sharing, or cross-site tracking. We do not use third-party website analytics or use the website to build advertising profiles.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. If a change materially affects your rights or how PERDIFY handles your information, we will provide additional notice where required.
